Admission and Withdrawal

• For admission to Nursery the minimum age is 3 (by 30th June) and maximum 3.5 The date for the issue of the application form is advertised in local news papers, usually in the first week of February. Every candidate for admission must be introduced in person, by one who will be responsible to the principal for the child.
• For admission to other classes the application forms will be issued sometimes in the second week of June and an entrance exam will be held after 25th of June. The wards will be tested in the matter of the class previous to the one for which they are seeking admission. Admission depends on the performance in the examination.
• Admission forms must be duly filled up by parents on the appointed date after the posting of the list of new admission on the school notice board. Failing to do so without a valid reason in writing to the principal will result in cancellation of the pupil’s admission.
• Any pupil coming to school fresh from home should produce an official birth certificate (such as the municipal or Baptism certificate) Pupils coming from other school must produce the transfer certificate of the school last attended. And the certificate has to be countersigned by the authority.
• Any attempt to influence the authority through recommendation, falsification of the date of birth or pressurisation from any quarters will automatically disqualify the application from getting admission.
• A student may be removed by school authorities on any one on the following grounds.
  i. Constant weakness in studies.
  ii. Habitual idleness and disobedience
  iii. Irregular attendance
  iv. Behavioural problems.
  v. Indifference to the school activities
  vi. Moral breach considered serious by school authorities.
• The principal has the right to refuse the continuation of studies to any pupil in this school, whose conduct or influence is not satisfactory.
• In case of withdrawal of transfer certificate and other security deposits will be released on clearance of school dues. The application form for T.C. is given in the diary.
